Using Strong Colors To Create A Festive Wedding
Tired of all white weddings or muted vintage color palettes? Strong colors are a fantastic way to make your wedding fun and festive. Sure, it takes more effort to coordinate a wedding with strong colors, but it will be well worth it. Intense colors can be mixed and matched to make a beautiful wedding.
There is no point in being restrained when you are featuring bright and wild colors. Since using vibrant colors will set your wedding apart, really go for it with gusto. Mix purple, yellow, orange, red, green, and blue for a stunning style. Touches of white or ivory will be a good visual resting place among all the bright colors. Imagine how marvelous it would be for a summer celebration.
To create a unified look, find a print that has all of the colors used in combination. Choose your favorite color from the pattern to use for small accents. You can pick one multi-hued decoration and build out from there. A neutral colored napkin with a bright trim will be lovely. Add a colored border to the napkins. A nice detail would be to slipcover the chairs in a coordinating color.
There is no lack of possibilities for centerpieces with strong hues. With the tablecloths featuring so many hues, it would be lovely to pull out a trio of them for the centerpiece flowers. Arrangements of orange, yellow, and red dahlias would be fantastic for a late summer celebration. You could also opt to create centerpieces from a single color like just red or bright yellow. Informal flowers like gerbera daisies would be ideal. A final idea is to use fresh white flowers for the centerpieces and to display them in clay pots painted in one of your colors. If you like, opt for something extra fun like a red and white polka dot pattern on the centerpiece vessels.
Naturally, you will want your bridesmaids to wear a fun color. Your bridesmaids might not love wearing a dress with lots of colors, so pick your favorite hue for their attire. Red, blue, and green tend to be the most wearable for a variety of skin tones, while yellow and orange can be a bit trickier. White pearl bridesmaid jewelry is nice when the dresses are so colorful. Silver bridesmaid jewelry would also be pretty. Bring in lots of color in the bridesmaids' bouquets with mixed flower bouquets tied with a multi-hued striped ribbon. It would be lovely for the bride to carry an equally colorful bouquet instead of the traditional white blossoms.
You'll find plenty more ideas for incorportating bright hues in your decorations. Design a fabulous bright wedding cake with a whimsical pattern, hang bunting from the trees at an outdoor reception, and have a candy station featuring a rainbow array of candies for the wedding favors. Such a bright and colorful wedding will be a delight for guests of all ages.
